The digital divide has fascinated me for quite some time, Mostly because of how such a chronic social issue has been left untreated in the technological revolution of today. Out of all the materials presented the one that really stuck out to me the Ted talk from Lukas Pietrzak, I really enjoyed how he compared the shift in society before and after the domestication of electricity to the very similar domestication of the internet. One fact from his Ted Talk that has really jumped out at me was how 7% of Americans don't have access to the internet. That surprised me and it’s something I definitely think needs resolving.
